Xbox Series X Updated: New Chip and Cooling System
Cooler and More Efficient, But Noiseless Fun Continues
Microsoft has introduced revamped versions of the Xbox Series X, featuring a smaller chip, redesigned motherboard, and a different cooling approach. Microsoft's new chip models use less power in standby mode, thanks to their leaner design. The motherboard has undergone a complete overhaul, simplifying and resizing many components.
Instead of an evaporative chamber, the new Xbox Series X hardware opts for a more conventional copper heat pipe system. Despite these changes, the console's temperature and noise levels remain unchanged from previous models. These three fresh iterations of the Xbox Series X hit the shelves today.
