Ubisoft Team Shifts Focus to Rayman Remake

The game's original creator is back, not everyone's thrilled
Development Shake-Up
Some of the Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown developers have switched to working on a Rayman remake, with mixed feelings among the team. According to journalist Tom Henderson, the involvement of the original game's creator, Michel Ancel, as a consultant has not been well-received by everyone.
Expanding Horizons
A portion of the team has also moved to projects like a new Ghost Recon game and Beyond Good and Evil 2, indicating a focus shift within Ubisoft.
Sales Expectations vs. Reality
Despite high hopes for a boost in sales to rival popular metroidvanias, The Lost Crown has sold only about a million copies, falling short of initial predictions.
