New DOOM Game Details: The Dark Ages Revealed

DOOM: The Dark Ages, the next entry in the series, promises a grim and brutal experience. Unlike DOOM Eternal, the gameplay is slower paced. Both the protagonist and enemies now wield shields, with enemy shields flashing yellow during attacks to signal players.
New enemies include a spider-like boss. Expect melee weapons such as a flail, mace, and fists. Players can navigate maps using a shield-saw. Weaponry includes a double-barreled plasma shotgun and a single-barrel shotgun, plus a nail gun to pin enemies to walls. The game world is more open than ever.
Scheduled for release in 2025, it will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series. Additionally, it will be accessible on Game Pass.
