Microsoft Announces 650 Layoffs in Gaming Division
Some of Activision Blizzard's staff are out.
Microsoft will lay off 650 employees from its gaming division, mainly affecting corporate and support roles at Activision Blizzard. Phil Spencer confirmed that the cuts will not impact staff involved in game development or hardware. Leadership in Xbox divisions and internal studios will remain unchanged.
