The collection of Gamer Network publications—, Eurogamer, Rock Paper Shotgun, VG247, and Dicebreaker—now falls under the IGN umbrella. Adding to its impressive lineup, the network also holds stakes in Outside Xbox, Digital Foundry, and Hookshot, the latter managing high-traffic sites like Nintendo Life, Push Square, Pure Xbox, and Time Extension.

As a subsidiary of Ziff Davis, IGN Entertainment already boasts an enviable portfolio of digital properties, including MapGenie, HowLongtoBeat, and Humble Bundle. This new powerhouse acquisition stemmed from ReedPop, known for organizing events like PAX and New York Comic-Con, which initially acquired the Gamer Network in 2018.

Not every asset came with the deal, though. Events such as EGX and MCM in the UK, as well as the digital brand Popverse, remain under ReedPop's control.
