Frostpunk 2 Set for Console Launch in Six Months
Console gamers rejoice, patience is key!
Frostpunk 2 will make its console debut in the next half a year, following a rocky start. Initial sales of the game left investors unhappy and dropped 11 Bit Studios' shares by half. Despite some critical fan reviews, refund rates stood at only 10%.
The game has seen a rise in positive feedback, aided by multiple patches. With over 2 million Steam users still having it on their wishlists, 11 Bit Studios is optimistic about its long-term sales. Players can expect expansions in around 18 months, and a mobile spin-off, Frostpunk: Beyond the Ice, is set to release on October 23rd.
