Dune Awakening to Launch on PC First Due to Xbox Series S Challenges

Funcom, the developer behind Dune Awakening, has revealed that the game will initially be available only on PC before making its way to consoles. According to one of Funcom's top managers, significant effort is required to optimize the game for consoles, with the Xbox Series S posing a particular challenge.
The MMO set in the universe of Dune is scheduled for a PC launch at the start of next year, with a console release to follow.
