Dragon Age The Veilguard Set to Break Sales Records
Fan favorites stay loyal to good games
EA anticipates that the upcoming release of Dragon Age The Veilguard might become a major sales success. This prediction stems from strong reviews, a dedicated fan base, and limited competition in the AAA game market. EA's CEO, Andrew Wilson, highlighted this potential during an investor conference, stating that Bioware has returned to crafting the type of games their fans love.
EA is currently experiencing a record-breaking revenue quarter, thanks to the popularity of their American football simulators. The Sims 4 is also performing well, having attracted 15 million new users over the past year.
Wilson further mentioned that the company does not plan to develop Apex Legends 2, as sequels to multiplayer games rarely achieve the success of their originals.
