Bungie Changes Destiny 2 Update Strategy
Two expansions, more updates.
Bungie has announced a significant shift in their approach to supporting Destiny 2. Instead of releasing a single large expansion annually, the studio will now launch two medium-sized expansions and four free content updates each year.
This new strategy is aimed at enhancing the overall gaming experience, introducing a non-linear storyline, and significantly boosting in-game activities and rewards. The new content model will kick off in summer 2025 with the release of the expansion *Codename Apollo*, which promises a character-focused, non-linear narrative.
The upcoming saga will revolve around a central theme and will introduce new characters, factions, and much more for players to explore.
