Apple Devices Now Support Wired Xbox Controller Connection
Wired gaming just got real.
In a significant update, Apple has enabled its devices to connect with Xbox controllers using a wired connection. With the release of iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia, Apple users can now enjoy gaming with connected Xbox controllers on both USB-C and even Lightning port devices through a Lightning-USB adapter. Before this update, the direct connection was unavailable due to Microsoft’s proprietary USB protocol.
